I like this photo a lot. It's nicely composed, and the conversion to black and white really adds to the moodiness. There's a forlorn feeling to the shot that's emphasized by the lonely figure, which adds much interest and scale. Nice tones and good job on the lighting. I like the fact that she's almost, but not quite a silhouette. It's ghostly and stark, adding to the mood and story.

What a beautiful image. I think the stormy weather gives more dramatic skies... better for the photos. This is definitely a keeper for her collection. Nice job.

Thank you so much. I fully agree cloudy sky is more interesting than blue and stormy weather is the most dramatic. I go out for photos when everybody else goes in the house.

I like it!!! A unique shot and angle. You have added to the effect by converting it to B/W. I would try to trim the top a little bit and see if it has a stronger impact. Very good work.

Thank you so much for your favorable review. No trimming the top doesn't add to the impact but takes away since the effect of the clouds coming forward us get lost.

It's a beautiful composition Cleo. The cloud formations are really pretty as is the flow of the land. The spiky plant at the top of the little hill really adds great interest.

Thank you so much. The spiky plant is a baby fan palm. The hill is an illusion it is just foliage.

Black and white is the perfect choice for this piece....the sky looks so beautiful and almost ominous.

Good composition - I like the curve at the bottom. Lighting is really nice, beautiful cloud formation.

You should share this with your friend as a keepsake of her visit.

Thanks for sharing with us!

Thank you so much. Of curse, she has already a photo CD of her visit and a 12x8 print of this photo. I give it to here before I ask her permission to publish the photo.

I always like black and white frames and this one is no exception to that. The storyline is lovely and the scene is just wonderful. The clouds formation is something I alwaya enjoy taking shots of myself. This is a great shot showing the patterns that will never be repeated. Great backdrop and great subject.

Thank you so much for your generous review. This is not a shot of myself but of a friend of ours.
