When I look at the photo, I find there is a kind of peacefulness I associate with it, maybe because the photo doesn't have anyone or any animal visible in it and the setting is very natural. You took the building from a nice angle. Great photo!

I think the old barn has more character than this one, but nothing as much character as you LR. Again, clarity and color are great.

Well Debbie, as far as the story another smile sits upon my face, always look forward to reading your pieces, and like the deliperate use of slang. And you have a fantastic husband sounds like to me. But as far as the photo the tress distract the piece, but the piece is great otherwise.

Enjoyed your funny story Low. Colors of red in barn draws one into the image. Always enjoyable to view country scenes. Coloration, story telling especially, focus, center of interest (barn), impact, lighting all well arranged.

Excellent detail on this one. Picture perfect.

The stories that you tell are hysterical. You get into some situations, and the way you tell them are very funny. Keep it up.

This piece was fairly interesting, but far from perfect. I like most things here, yet I think that, as a photograph, this could have been taken better. Not a large gap better, but a decent amount.

First off, it appears at a slight angle. I guess that is okay, but it is also a bit distracting. Something to note. The trees are also a bit distracting and there's just not much to see....the building is, in my opinion, overly done. To much the centerpiece.

Good job overall with this.

Just my thoughts,
Lpspider

Don't really know how to respond to your words, pretty contradicting, building IS the subject, which would constitute a 'centerpiece', but thank you very much for your time.

What a fabulous shot the colors are absolutely awesome with all some strong and some subtle , not to forget the wonderful verity of textures. Excellent composition of this rich red barn that draws your eye like a magnet with out losing the over all impact of the complete sharp picture. Awesome photo, love it.
