Interesting image, I really like the composition.I think the image could have been a 6 star rating if it wasn't for the darkness on the left side. I feel like it creates too much attention towards the tale, rather than bringing focus to the middle of the image. Good job

That picture is a star shot as the face of your daughter is shining as strong as the snakes skin. Both are in an amazing harmony. Just the important parts are visible - very interesting - super shot - congratulation

Nicely composed shot. I agree that the shot would look better in BW. Color can sometimes distract from the main focus of a shot. Parts of the snake a little over exposed, and a slightly distracting shadow on the face, but overall nice shot.

You and your daughter are very brave ladies. It is always good to try something new. I like your shot with your daughter and her smile. Good shot with enough details to give a tentative ID. I think it is a Common Northern Boa found in Central America. It is the most common one found in captivity. A nice shot to remind you that fears can be overcome. Well done.

OMG! i can't imagine my self holding a snake, i'm also afraid of snakes and like you i have never in my life been so close to a snake before.It sure she's really a brave lady,she does handled it so well.You did a wonderful job in capturing this photo and good processing as well,it also looks good in B&W.I Like the sharp focus and a great clarity.
