Deserves a 6
The unmistakable uniform of a concentration camp prisoner was the first thing I saw. The lost look on his face/the helpless stance was the second thing.
The transparent prisoner, the ghost of what once was, is haunting and sad.
sepia works well as does the vignette and frame.
Such a disturbing reminder of what once was, and what continues to happen, in different forms, all over the world.

Very nice work with the alteration work her. The sepia tones are wonderful and the story telling ability is very good. Nice work on this one.

Nice and heart wrenching, and just the right amount of sepia, to add that old feel to the shot. very well planned out and executed. Donkeyoatey

What a story to go with this presentation. Great job to add the prisoner to the photo. Very good presentation with the tone and vignette. Thanks for the story. This bring back memories when I visit the camp.

Good composition and like what you did with the color. Good clear, sharp image and good placement of the faded prisoner.
I like the creativity of the presentation.

A "terrible tale and a terrifying photo" combine to produce a quite chilling work. Represents a time when the world went mad. For me though, the Great Powers have to look deeply at themselves, during the late 1920's and 1930's, and ask the brutal question "why did we not do more", instead of conveniently pretending it was all a big surprise and could not be predicted. A fine image, well done!

This makes me feel incredibly uncomfortable - and for that I applaud you. The atrocities of Auschwitz should never be forgotten lest they be repeated. It's a powerful image, very well put together and the sepia works perfectly. Thought provoking work Annie.
