i really like the green eyes of the little creature and how they stand out in his furry face. very nice uses of your colors and the positive and negative space for a nicely balance drawing of a cute little red fox. excellent look at the fur and how you rendered it in white in full detail. very nice work, thanks for sharing.

I think the drawing if the fox is VERY Sweet! Love how you included blades of grass to set of the eyes. Love how this fellow is glimpsing off to the side too. I'm picturing a moonlit night for this fellow and love the way the moonlight falls on the foxes fur.

Like your friend I would be tempted to leave out food, but if this fox ever develops rabies, all those in the neighborhood would be endangered by it, including pets. SOmtimes it's hard to know what to do, but for me that fear would be enough for me not to put food out.

Fantastic details for the medium used! I Love foxes, and had them eating out of my hand when I was a young girl(Mama had her den near our backyard and I would leave eggs out on her rock sometimes. although today I know better than to confuse the babies by hand feedings)
I think this is an excellent contest entry because you have captured contrast and light and dark in both the background but also within the fox, as in the eyes and fur coat...Beautiful job!
