Oh to have a 6. This is outstanding! Your focus, color and exposure are flawless. Your use of aperture is really beautiful with that lovely blurred background. Composition is beautiful right down to that sweet bud poking in from the bottom. Really well done!

This one seems special how you have captured several of the blossoms and greens sharp in detail, but used light, color and dept of field to create a feel of softness.
The colors are harmonic. The placement of high tulips surrounded by shorter plants warrant a balanced composition.

Yes, tulips are well known for their ability to affect the human soul in many positive ways! Like your composition in traditional style. All the more impressive with that bright background! The flowers though are sharp and well exposed. Nice shot, good luck!

a very good close up Lisa of these beautiful dark pink tulips: good lighting with sharp focus against the blurred orange bg (other tulips?)

:) Thank you, Supergold! The soft blends of yellows and oranges are the daffodils that cover the hillside behind up at Daffodil Hill. I find myself a little more drawn to the little patch of tulips in preference. Glad this Nature shot caught your eye. Kindest Regards. Lisa

Gorgeous DOF Lisa! The yellow has a sunset glow and the pretty in pink Tulips are standing tall bathed in the warm glow of the "daffies".

Wow! I agree with you the daffodils from behind create this beautiful light and glow effect that just accent the pink and green of your tulips. Your capture of them is spectacular with a perfect artistic depth of field. I like also that you choose to show case a large group of the tulips capturing so much of the beauty. Your sharp focus, good lighting, and details as made this an outstanding photo. Good luck in the contest, a good contender. A pleasure to view. Thanks for sharing. Worthy of a six star!

The background does look glorious with these flowers. I like how well the lines and shades of color stand out on the petals of the tulips. Makes me long for Spring!
