Thank you so much, artist Maureen, for your reviewing and continued support. It took so many layers or Paynes Gray, Prussian (I think I got to that, but dark blue) and one of black in watercolor. If it hadn't been watercolor canvas (My first), it probably wouldn't have held up.

Looks like and sounds like you got a lot of firsts in your good entry into the competition! He looks very pleased with himself in all that adult gear. Like his eyes. Exposure and sharpness are fine. Well done and good luck!

Thank you, artist friend, for your kind review and continued support. It took a lot of layers for the background; good it was on watercolor canvas (My first use of this for watercolor) or it may not have held up.
