This is pretty and thank you for sharing this with us. You did a great job of focusing on the bloom itself and how much darker they are than the lighter pink softer looking petals on the outside of the bloom. It's a beautiful picture because you made the background all about the Rose. It is very nice. Great job

Beautiful capture of this pretty in pink rose Jack!
Love the close-up full frame, fine focus, controlled white balance and the touch if softness.
My only wish is for a tad more space up top, but it is still a fine shot.

How beautiful this photo is of this pretty soft pink rose. The lighting and color are so soft and beautiful, it almost seems to glow. Nice filling of the frame. Excellent clarity rendering good detail and texture of the petals. Nicely framed with great visual impact. I see that you are new to this site. Welcome to FAR. How beautiful this photo is of this pretty soft pink rose. The lighting and color are so soft and beautiful, it almost seems to glow. Nice filling of the frame. This is a lovely warm photograph. I like the close framing and despite this it has such detail. I can almost feel the texture of the petals through the photograph. Really nice range of shades in this photograph. I can see why you stopped to take the picture.

A beautiful picture of the heart of the soft peachy pink rose with it's gold stamens just visible at it's hear if you look closely between the enfolding petals around them. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting wit superb camera techniques with sharp focus.

This is an extremely beautiful rose. So delicate and fragile, but also with a certain elegance, and in the most lovely pink hues. It is nice to see the buds behind it, and I also like the subdues green background to emphasize the delicate look. When it is also nicely softened, the rose is standing out from it in the most excellent way.
Your photo is also nice and sharp showing such clear and well defined details, and still it has a lovely softness to it. I also think the exposure is perfect.
My only comment is that the composition could have been even better. The rose is touching the frame at the top, and this is unfortunate. Still this is an all together truly lovely and well taken photo with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.
