Beautiful landscaping with great attention to the details. I would call it a song of blue because the blue is dominating here. Great perspective and very well balanced composition. tonal expression is excellent, gives the feeling of gentleness. I love water reflections very much. Thank you for sharing

Stour country is beautiful (I live in Yorkshire) and you certainly have captured that beauty here. I think the image is not such a good one and it is too big to be able to see it all at one time which I would prefer.However I did not want to rate this below 5 as I can see the work you put into this and the quality of the painting in the trees especially.If this was a clearer image and a bit smaller it would get a better reaction I feel sure. Well done with the painting and thanks for sharing.

Hiya Nice to meet a fellow Yorkshire lass! When one clicks on your image to review it comes up but one cannot see all of it at once and have to pan up and down to see the whole pic. I do think it would be much better if one could see the whole pic at once. It needs to be resized so that it fits and we can see it all. Have you got Roxy photosuite or anything like that? Any photo programme you have will resizeit for you. Or you can resize it when you fill in the form on posting. I usually make mine 2x3 inches and then it appears at a good size on FAR. Sometimes you have to use trial and error till you find the right size. Oh,oh, just read this back and maybe I am confusing you - hope not! Just trying to help you present a better image of your great artwork. I would never knock a rating down because the actual scanned or photographed image was less than perfect but many on here will. I look at the quality of the work and rate on that and I could see that yours was beautifully and lovingly painted. Just some thoughts. Best of luck and cheers. Alex

A lovely portrayal of the river Stour. I spent a day in Dedham when I visited the UK last August, we walked to the mill, had a boat ride along the river and walked back to Dedham. Inspiring countrside to see. Thanks for reminding me of it.
