This is lovely. I especially like the light on the horizon and the lovely soft colours in the sky and the sea, contrasted against the harsher rocks. The lifeboat adds a sense of perspective. Beautifully executed.

Lovely painting. Your colors are wonderful, you managed to give it a three dimensional feel. I really like your very pronounced foreground bringing the eye directly to the horizon line and the clouds. Nice work.

Beautiful picture of the angry sea!Something dear to my heart as it was my second job when i left school!What do i like about it?It astounds me the mount of work that you have put into it,and brings home to me,how the sea can be both tranquil ,calm and beautiful,and also a very treacherus place,I envy your skill! my very best wishes and continuing success.

Wow! Very beautiful. Great use of texture and movement in this piece. I really like the boat in the background and it seems very proportionate with everything in the piece. The only thing that I didn't like is that the ocean seems a bit too white to me and doesn't create too much contrast or detail in the painting. Overall, great job and thank you for spending so much time on this because I know these things take a while :)

Thank you for your review. Not quite sure what you mean by the sea being white. Our North Sea is mostly grey in colour and it was very choppy with white caps.

This is lovely and well painted. I especially love the way you did the waves hitting against the rocks. I havent been there for years but appreciate the reminder of this lovely place. Thank you for sharing this wonderful art work that you painted.
