I do like it, Suzanne. I like how the dusk has subdued the colours so that the sea and the shore are almost indistinguishable as being separate. I like how you've incorporated a hint of purple tones in the colours. The composition is nice, with the few coastal plants in the foreground giving it good balance. It has a soft relaxing feel to it. Many thanks, Doris, for your lovely review. It is a beautiful beach to visit - don't know about the box jelly fish - didn't come across any when I was there. Suzanne

I love the painting.

The beach, the waves, some plant growth...everything is in such detail.

You have captured the lights and colors very well in this painting.

I am glad to get to see a part of 'Te Arai' beach.

Thanks for sharing.

This has sound composition and the theme is a perennial favourite. But what is missing is the range of colours that can show the depth sunny seascape. This looks monochromatic.

i really like the colors you use in your paintings, they are very calming and soft, which nature is alot of the time, I would love to see you do a nasty storm and use some intense colors, you are very good in your comfort zone(please do not take this as an insult, I love your artwork)all of it, but I think You would create some amazing art going into the dark side muah muah muah, hehe! would love to see more:)

Comments: I liked your previous post better than this one. But this is a good piece of art. It shows the isolation. Good composition. Good sense of scale. Great colors. Thanks for sharing.
