Gorgeous. You have successfully captured the soft tones and warm setting of a sunset at dusk. I love it. I would have liked to have seen a little more detail; just a little more stark contrast between your foreground imagery and the rest of the work. But that doesn't really bring it down. It works. I am not fond of the very bottom of this piece; it is nearly a simple lavender bar that stretches across the bottom. No imagery, and it doesn't add anything to the piece. no additional depth, doesn't help balance anything. You could almost cut the canvas down and have a more compressed, slightly more dynamic piece without it. Not a big deal, I simply suggest that in the future you carry your imagery down a little farther.
I love this painting, it really is a great piece. You did very well.

What a beautiful scene Suzanne! The colors are soft and the water is lovely with great movement in the waves! It has a warm feeling to it and the use of mediums is wonderful! Nice work of art!

Love the softness and perspective of the background.
Your skills are amazing. I can see why you are holding such a high ranking of which
you deserve.
Maybe a slight darker color
for contrast of the near sand doon would have brought out
the overall reality of the sand.
