Beauty! Such a warm feeling of colors and a mysterious feel to it. I enjoy the trees that are lit up by the fire. It adds intensity. Not sure if you need so much foreground but its great nonetheless! WOnderful contrast that gives the great impact!!

This one has a lot of mixed emotion to it. Being on the other side of the country it is hard to understand the reality. But you show us the beauty of the area and the potential destruction due to the fires. Very well presented.

When seeing tragedy like this piece represents it makes it very hard to say beautifully done. But it is. Tones, highlights and reflections as well as the detail in the foreground. Well done. Travlin1

This is absolutely fabulous. Everything is nearly ablaze. Such incredible colors, textures and nuances. Tremendous impact. Great definition and clarity. Extremely creatively presented. I think I feel the heat and smell the smoke!! WOW

Good use of limited palette to create the feeling of fire -- oops! I thought this was a painting. Maybe that's what you were hoping to suggest.
The fire is frighteningly close to the cabin and with the dead birch tree and the long grasses, the viewer can't help but feel trepidation, despite the presence of the pond. No evidence of people to use the pond water to fight the fire anyway.
Your composition is well balanced. I like the way you can see the fire between two stands of trees. Lends suspense.

Your comments were correct, Sheila. This is a painting, it's just done digitally. Thanks a million for the excellent rating, and I enjoyed your comments very much. Thank you again.

Brilliant picture.

I love the colours in this, your technical skills are good with the use of filters.

The composition is top notch, I like how the grass in the foreground has colour to it forcing interest through out the whole picture.

Awesome and heart stopping. The glow of the fires and the pines barely peeking through the smoke. My heart stopped beating at the perfect log cabin upon the water in the fires path. The glow from the flames shimmers across the water.

I like the color scheme in this they are very exciting and they do bring out the passion that fire creates. The fear and the passion are well represented in this composition. Like the entire image and all the colors used very dramatic.

Comment from Neil Brown

Love the colours, yellows, oranges, & browns.

The scene without the fire is very serene, even with it it has a stillness to it.

Clever stuff.
