Wow, you have an amazing concept of color and luminence in this piece. It absolutely comes alive. I can feel the heat and smell the smoke. Reflections from the fire on the water is amazing. Wish I had a six to give you. This is outstanding. Stunning! Love it!

Shawn, you deserve a 6 for this! I'm patiently waiting to get my little 2. What an absolutely great painting, but with such a hard hitting subject. The colors are spectacular as is every other aspect of your painting. I sure hope that some day soon California will get more assistence and new methods in controlling these destroyers!! There MUST be a way. Great work that brings real awareness!!

Shawn, you deserve a 6 for this! I'm patiently waiting to get my little 2. What an absolutely great painting, but with such a hard hitting subject. The colors are spectacular as is every other aspect of your painting. I sure hope that some day soon California will get more assistence and new methods in controlling these destroyers!! Wonderful job depicting the tragedy of forest fires. The coloring is fabulous. The flames and smoke amidst the different layers of trees is great. The color of the reflections on the water take on the devastation in the background. The grass in the foreground appears glowing from the fire. The fate of the cabin is probably not good. Thanks for sharing your work.

The smoke in the sky, the distant burning, the blaze and brilliant hot colors, and the unfortunate conifer trees, cabin, etc. in its destructive path. The little lake will never look the same. You have creatively captured in your digital art a beautiful place with probable destiny of being gone and changed for a very long while. The fires of CA is tragic. Our hearts go out to the state, people, nature, and firefighters. Its storytelling will be told and remembered for a long time. Well done.
