Good over all pencil drawing the skin tonal quality in this one is really very good, excellent as it were. What technique do you use to get the gradation? The eyes look good, and they are the windows to the soul, the moment, if they are done correctly then the rest of the portrait seems to fall into place, nicely drawn. I also think that you did a good job on the background in this rendering as well.

Very nicely done Linda, the composition is different with the top of the head being cut off and the left arm but still works. The lighting that you have created is good and the shading techniques are excellent. Nice job!!!

All of art is conception. Things that are needed are there, and the things that don't help are deleted. We grab the softness of the skin, the reflections of light, the wetness of the eyes, the fullness of the lips. The seen and unseen. Yes this is life itself. Seen and unseen. And this is what art is all about. Isn't it grand? Thank you for your wonderful review.
