    Dearest Molly,
The sadness represents all of the sadness we must face in this lifetime. You and I both know that. The Greatness is this; That God has give us gifts. You and I both. These gifts carry us through and transport us to a level that is higher ground. The floods of dispair cannot consume us. We go to the place of art and find a quiet escape from the cares of life. Thank you for your fantastic review.

I would like to give you my condolences on the loss of your daughter.May god grant you the strength to carry on. I read your Bio and I am glad you are finding solace in your art. You are indeed very talented. God bless you.

What I most enjoy about this image is the softness of your pencil strokes, there is almost a B/W photographic quality about this. Nicely composed and the stare out to the viewer is mezmerizing.

This famous phrase is often true, and this beautiful work of portraiture is no exception. My impression of this beautiful subject is that she lacks the easy smile, natural humor and high spirit you'd hope to see in a happy person; but has great beauty she's not quite sure of, and maybe a serious thinker, at least for the present. She's very masterfully executed, with great sublte highlights, shading and blending showing luminous, satiny skin, great beautiful facial features , a lovely sheen on the beautiful gown. Really nice work.

Linda, you just do incredible work. I wish so much I had something more than a 5 to give you. Just know if I could do it, I'd give you a 25.

The detail, the shadowing and lighting, the REALNESS of your work is just uncanny.

And as you say, those eye! It's funny about me and Lynne. When we meet someone, or see something like this, I most always notice the mouth and she notices the eyes. Both are just incredible here This young lady could easily step out of that picture and into our lives.

Thank you so much for sharing.

Impressive pencil drawing. Yes, you have managed to put real emotion into the eyes - a sadness, mirrored by the mouth. The attention to detail is also excellent - the moles by the eye and the nose, and even on the arm - all add to the realism of the work. Interesting, also, how you have positioned the drawing in the frame. A very fine piece of real art.

Thank you for recognizing the fact that I have placed my subject off-center. It's' an eye thing. Your review is stellar. I thank you for taking the time to really take a good look.

This is a wonderful drawing, very life like and detailed. I love the way you have captured the eyes and the hair. But what impresses me the most is the lips and the nose, mainly because that is my biggest area of trouble, and yet you have mastered them!

Gives me hope! LOL Anyway, I love the depth and reality you have added to all of this, little things such as the the left shoulder strap pulling into the skin...great call...and the shadowing on the silk dress...amazing! This is such a wonderful piece!

Great work!

You story is fantastic, and so true.

I love this drawing, and you've done such a great job. Your technique is wonderful. I love the simplicity of her body position. Facial and body details are incredible. Shading and shadows are great. I love the calm, comfident expression on her face and in her eyes. Beautiful work.

This is an absolutely gorgeous pencil sketch. I love the fine line and the elegant feature of the face and the body. The handling of the shadows is excellent. The facial expressions are so natural. You can just stare at this and not get tired. Thanks for sharing.

What a wonderful review. I am so happy that you enjoy this piece. I worked hard on it, but that is the pleasure of art. It can't come easy, as most passions in this world take a lot out of us, spiritually. Ah, the fulfillment of creating something that reflects the glory of our most magnificent Creator. Thank you for your critique on this piece,
