I like this very much. The lighting is very effective, it helps to express the character of this girl. Technique excellent. A pleasure to gaze at those alluring eyes. Youth is so refreshing when protrayed in this way. Enjoyable view.

    Dear Baby,
A young girl shouldn't be exploited in the name of art, and innosence must be portrayed as just that. Youth is beautiful, and a chaste woman is beautiful. I believe we must convey this to our society. Protect our girls. My Motto.
Thank you for your wonderful review.

    Dear Gidg,
The beauty of simplicity in a complex world is alway alluring, and needed. I wanted to portray this. Youth should be protected, and welcomed in the sense that it so easily and quickly can be snatched away. Thank you for your wonderful review.

WOW! This is amazing. I just love the beautiful expression on here face and those expressive eyes are wonderful. Your shading throughout is exquisite! There is a softness to this that makes it so soothing to look at. All the detail in this piece is superb. GREAT WORK! Wish I had a six to give it. Katy

Thank you. More than anything, I need the grand feed/backs from my fellow artists. Your critique encourages me to continue to draw. These pictures take so long to make. Getting the dark and light tones is time consuming. I want everything to be precise, and perfect. If it isn't, I work and work to make it right. God bless you for everything,

This is beautiful!
The eyes and her mouth especially so.
The tones off her skin are very well done, and the background helps to emphasize this.
Especially like the dress and the way you have captured th sheen on it.
Very well done..

Thank you for your wonderful review. The sheen on her dress is just where I don't lay down the lead. The rest is the hard work. It just takes a lot of time and consistency.

Lovely picture. The soft tones work well to create a feeling of mystery, as does the darker shading on the left side of the drawing. Her eyes make you wonder what she is thinking, mysterious, but perhaps a little sad. Thanks for sharing.

Mystery is what it is all about. The unknown. What will the next moment bring. We don't know. This is something that we have no control over. Only God Himself holds the future. Therefore, we must look to Him. That is what I believe she is doing, looking to God. Youth and beauty pass away, but the spirit is eternal. Unseen, though more real than this realm that we live in. Wisdom begins with the confession that we are powerless. The eyes are the windows of the soul. What we allow in, and what we illuminate out of the heart.

Perfect title and description to this. Love the tones and shading you used here also. Looking at her face makes you wonder about her past and her feeling. Very nicely done.

She is looking to you for a semblance of realization that we are powerless to change a minute on the clock, a hair on our head, an inch in our stature. Those things belong to God. Acknowledgement of this fact is the greatest wisdom. To bow the knee to the creator of all things. This is the reflection of her gaze.

I love your drawings, the style you use is very compelling, very 'painterly' at times. I can't seem to find the details on the paper sued, the pencils used etc. Do you normally complete this area when you post your art? It would be very educational for others who view your work.
Looking forward to your next posting.

    Dearest Gary,
I don't recall if I responded to your review as of yet. Let me just reply by saying that I only use a mechanical pencil, sketch paper, and a blending stick on my work. I totally thank you for your review. and I have just begun a new project. I will have to spend a lot of time on it, but hopefully, when it is finished, you will like it. Thank you for your wonderful review,

This is very very well done, i love the shading and tones of this figure. I love to draw as well and i think that the shading is the most important part of the picture to make it pop, and yours definately does this. Absolutely perfectly done

You are so right. The eyes are the window of the soul, and I love doing them, just like you seem to. You do beautiful work. Your detail is exquisite, and your touch has to be very light in order to get the delicate and subtle changes of shade that are evident in all your sketches, Good job, wish I had a six. for you , Diane

    Dearest Diane,
I have a twin sister named Diane. She is an artist, also. Her work is done in oils, and her style is quite different. I envy her ability to use color and simple brush to attain a realistic look. I struggle to achieve it with the pencil, but pencil doesn't cost anything, and I can work on my creations anywhere and not have to lug a lot of supplies around. Thank you again for your wonderful review,
    Linda
