The tonal blending flows really smoothly into the scene with the sensational lighting impacts that bring out the forces of the ocean currents quiet well.

Very nicely done with this. The angle and the fact that you have been able to capture the coming of the wave in the shot is excellent. Great capture also of the menacing sky with the rain in the background.

Very nice. I like the wave action. The best part is the contrasting colors of water. White, green and then brown. The clouds add the much need feel of the developing storm. Nicely composed. My want to consider cropping a bit from the top. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks very much. I will consider the suggestion of cropping . I had the idea before but then decided against it since in my opinion the cropping made the thunder clouds looking as farther away to be higher and less dangerous.

This is a wonderful picture of the sea and the waves. I like the angle that you took this from. The detail in the water is great. An excellent picture. Good luck in the contest.

Wow - this is a great shot. When I saw the thumbnail, I thought it was a piece of computer-generated art. You don't have to be in the right place at the right time for such creations. But you do when you take a photograph - and, clearly, you were. The composition, the sombre clouds, the swirling waves - all caught exactly right. A terrific piece of work.

Wow, this is pretty cool. There's a lot of drama in those approaching waves. You have handled the colors well in the heavy sky and the three-four tones in the waves. Scary.

This is an exciting photo of an approaching storm. I love the power of the surf and the dark clouds in the horizon. I wonder if the scene would have had a stonger impact if it included more of the surf as it hit the beach.

Thank you for viewing and your kind Comments. You are probaly right with the surf hitting the beach but it was inpossible do to the location. The waves have washed out about 3 feet of the sand. The beach itself isn't flat it's more of a small hill. I'm standing in the water with my back to the 3 feet sand washed out around my feet and behind me trying to keep the camera from getting wet. I have pictures from the beach above but a shot from there is in a 45 angle shooting down what make look 6 to 8 feet waves like a little ripple in the water still without the hit on the beach what is then covered by the slightly overhanging washout. So this was the best I could do.

Very dramatic looking with Tropical Storm Dolly approaching. The foreboding sky, the high waves in the sea, the lighting on the wave cresting, and the rough surf and kick up of sand in the water makes for a very interesting photo. This shows that one should always respect the forces of nature. Wonderful presentation and composition. Well done.
