I like the shot Cleo and think you have a nice sharp point of focus with good lighting and exposure. The details are good and you have some nice textures....I think if you improved the colors a bit it would make a huge difference
in the overall quality of the shot. Try the saturation. I think if you went into that area in photoshop and selected both the yellow and greens colors separately and lowered the values by bringing down the sliders it might just do the trick!
Nice capture.....
Thanks for sharing!

Thank you a lot for your insightful helping critic. It's so seldom that we get tips. Yes I know what you mean with the saturation I plaid already with it. Truth I'm not using Photo Shop but my programs do the same just call it different.
The truth I didn't likedt what came out in my color playes. It lokkt beautifull but cold. I don't know if you know what I mean some ttime I still have some trouble to find the right English words. I mean it looked to perfect to be natural. But maybe I did it wrong. I will try again.

Yes I understand and yes sometimes its a bit difficult to get the colors just right. Keep trying I know there is a combination that will work really great for this! Good job on the photo its self. Enjoyed the view!

Excellent commentary...I enjoy your appreciation of the mangrove situation.
I love the green on the board...perfect with the color of the flower petals. Good lighting and framing.
Nice shot.

Gorgeous color! And I love that reflection; it appears to be filled with light. I love the Yucatan. It is such a beautiful area filled with wonderful light, color and I've always felt, a bit of magic. How lucky you are to live in that paradise. I just love this image. I'm so drawn to beautiful, rich and clear hues like this and the contrasts and textures are marvelous. Love it.

This is one of those views that would have caught my attention too if i was able to have it under my eyes.
When i do review photos over here , i do it because they express something and i rarely look at the technical aspect, although this shot is technically good too, i have to say.
What i can see here is like a clock that tic-tac the last instants of a life form, like this flower....lifeless but still vibrant somehow.
Very well done to you.

Gorgeous color impact in this work. The red stands out beautifully on its background. I really admired your angle in this work and the strength the diagonal lines add to this composition. The out of focus reflection is suitably dreamy to make this work expressive. A great pleasure to view your work again:)
