Thank you for your nice review.
You are right: He is a poser.
The color was intentional. The picture was token in to bright light on the beach with it's flashy sand. So I played a little with the color settings.

Great angle he indeed is lucky,Good DOP and good detail.
That big tongue of him makes you look at that sandy nose and finally at those big sparkling eyes.
He did not seem to be distracted by the camera at all.
Nice capture.

Thank you for your generous review. No, he isn't distracted by the camera. He thinks that is a part of my body. He gives me the look: You want to throw that coconut shell....right now.

And I am sure that he calls you very lucky too, to have gained such a lover as he is. It always amazes me that dogs that have been so badly treated can be so forgiving and trusting afterwards. No wonder we loved them so much. And love to you for having him in your family and life.

Thank you so much. Yes we are lucky to have "Lucky". Yes he is a lover and a clown...And he knows how to make me laugh before I could get mad with him because he stole a box of Kleenex [once again] or dug the fresh planted palm tree seat's out [once again] or something like it.

Cleo, the story of your dog is amazing. It is great he made it and that he has a loving home.
As a photo however, it is not, in my view, on par with the other photos you posted.

It is not quite sharp enough and the background is distracting. It looks like one of many snapshots of pets floating about, yet your other photos are clever, imaginative and technically advanced, I think. I am getting a little tired reviewing photos of pets, flowers and children, but I have you on my fan list, so I commented. I think that given the sheer volume of this type of photos, I would post only the very best. Pavel

Thanks Pavel, Actually I think it is just another snapshot of a pet. That's my entry for the pet contest. I didn't wanted something staged. I wanted something outside, something ordinary. I really couldn't make up my mine What one to post for a long time. I posted it because of his facile impression and the look in his eyes. I think it's funny. I just checked the original and it doesn't appears unshaped to me. The background is the beach I didn't wanted to change that or use a program to make it pretty.
