This is what a portrait should be.
Tells a story and captured a personality.
The light is perfect.
Great detail on a beautiful smile.
Very nice black and white, I wish I had a vote left for the contest I really like this one.

At least it keeps her from getting wet. I like the way you took this and the way she is looking at you. The lighting and focus are excellent. Good luck in the contest.

Nicely done with this! Hilarious! Good idea though! Your presentation for this is good. Love the black and white and the technique you have used for this.

Amusing photo. Very good idea to keep the hair from getting wet. Looks like a character from Cone Heads...LOL Nice photo with very good contrast, sharp focus and details. Thanks for sharing.

This picture has humour and charm and is nicely captured. Focus, lighting and composition are all very good, with nothing to distract.

LOL i love this photo. Its very funny. I like the focus and sharpness of her features. You've caught her expression and good humor well, the moment. I'm glad to see she's wearing her pearls with her umbrella. A fun portrait!

Its a nice B&W portrait, I like her expressions and the look in her eyes along with this smile. Also like the tones of B&W, somehow i would have cropped a bit tigher to keep the interest well focused and composed. Try this composition and you will feel the difference :) All the best for the contest.
