This is a wonderfull water color painting, I really like the highlightings and the shading, nice use of soft smooth colors, also like the waves hitting the boat, and the smooth soft sky. an excellent painting once again. Well done.

I have a painting very similar in my home. I love your choice in color. The waves are crashing against the ship but it stays strong and tall.
I hope you're able to do such great work well into your later years.
Do you have any other work similar but with storm clouds? I think that would be great - higher seas and dark skies and still standing tall. There is no doubt you can do it.

Thank you so much for the super beautiful review on this, Granny!! I really appreciate it. Now that I have this on my PC, I think I will play with it more digitally. Possibly add a few storm clouds and rougher seas.

An artist with the computer and an artist wit a paint brush. Seems like some people just get all the talent. This is an awesome work of art. The washes in this are excellent. I like the coloring and the way you have saved the whites. The way you have the waves, the detail in the ship, the entire composition are all excellent. Bet they got sea sick on this trip. A beautiful and excellent work of art.

Water colors dry too fast for me, and I have only painted two ships in my life. You really did a fantastic job. I like the blues, of course. I can feel the waves rolling and the ship crashing its way through them. Too bad I didn't have the sic novas to give you.

Thank you, Bill!! When I work with watercolors, I work wet on wet, and use a hair dryer when needed. Thanks again for the great review, and the compliment. :)
