Fantastic detail and colors here. The shapes and curves of her face are so reali and lifelike. I love the highlighted hair and the kines and detail in her cheeks. The light green on her right eye is a nice and subtle touch. This is one of the best portraits I have seen. Mazing job.

Beautiful work, Katya. I love the overall rosy glow. Your watercolors are vibrant in this one, and expertly applied. Blending is great, highlights and shadows are superb. This one really stands out and says, hey, look at me! I'll bet whoever you did this for just loves it. She/He will cherish it for years to come. Excellent groundlaying sketch also. Please do not feel slighted by the 5, it is all I had. This definitely deserve much more. Very well done!!!

I don't usually rate traditional art because I myself am not an artist in that medium, but I'm so struck by the beauty of this portrait I had to comment!
You've conveyed not only her beauty, but her inner life, through her smile and the beautiful glow in her face. I don't think I've ever seen such detail and depth in a water color! Lovely!

Wait... So this is a painting done, and you took pictures of it and put it on here, one zoomed to the face? ok i understand it now. Good lighting, It really looks like a person, that's what i have most trouble with, why im not an artist, good capturing the eyes.

Wow, wonderful portrait!!! Love how you got the pink of her cheeks to go with the color of her blouse. Wonderful eyes. Love also how you got her eyebrows to match reality instead of just being even. Very nice nose, nice highlighting on the nose/forehead/chin areas. Love how you got the hair to look real and to show some individual strands. You did an excellent job on the mouth and teeth as well. As I understand it, the eyes, nose and mouth are the hardest things to do on a portrait, you did all three of them very well.

Wow, this is great and congrats on your first commissioned painting, I think they people got their money's worth from your work.
YOu have really captured this lady well, her personality and her being really comes through as you obtain every detail and emotion her face had when you painted her. The love in her eyes, the smile on her lips really is great, her attire and hair really tells a story of a comfortable, outgoing and content woman.
