What an exciting collage, cleo.
Colorful and filled with immediacy.

Don't think there is room for one more animal. Love what you've done here. Must have taken hours and hours before the screen.

And what a garbage mess - but what a delightful clean-up crew you've assembled.

Eye-catching and immediately one wants to look at it and figure out all that is going on.

Congratulations - very creative and what a nice touch with technique. Wish you all the best in the garbage competition.

Thank you. You are always so encouraging. I was affraid that it got a little crowded in there. Thats why I put the animals in sepia. You are right it was time consuming. Especially to scan the animals. I have an excellent working flatbed scanner but it is a 2000 and won't work with any of the newer programs and need about 30 min. for a scan. I almost didn't make it with the deadline. My own falls: I was working with the beach glass until I discovered that it had to be real garbage from the trash can. Seams I didn't read the guidelines completely.....But I was lucky the idea was in my head since I was working to the same time on a poster for or community asking not leaf that mess of a garbage. [The poster is much more stylized]
Thanks for the good wishes for the competition but who is winning again will be probably you.

Thanks for the fun notes. 1/2 hour for a scan. It must have taken hours! But so well done and imaginatively thought-out. Great idea. I was looking forward to the beach glass art though. Maybe there will be another contest for something like that - or maybe you could just post an interesting shot. Sounds fascinating to me. I get the idea it is glass that has been washed up on the beach. Don't know. But I've seen some nice pieces of glass that have been sort of polished and worn and rounded and buffed by the sea and washed up onto the sand. Anyways - at least you read the rules and caught up with them and didn't pull the stunt I did. Ah, well - just hurt my pride but I got over it quickly. Have a good week!

    Thank you.
Yes thats absolute right. It's the glass what was for a wile in the ocean. I heard it gets rear now in the plastic age but the Caribbean still has plenty.

You will see some. Right now I'm not working effective. Caught one of the flu bugs.

Wouldn't have thought the flu bugs would be in such a beautiful area. We have them here and they are dreadful. But I suppose one can get the flu most anywhere. I always get a flu shot about this time of year. Feel better soon and have a speedy recovery.

Thank you so much for your wishes. Can't get a flu shot. I'm allergic. But I very seldom catch something. O yes the flu is here. The first ones came with the Conquest. It has killed more Indian people Throughout Central and South America then the Spaniards.

You've really taken a creative approach to "Its Garbage" People should be ashamed of themselves for leaving litter and trash left behind. Anyway...i do like your approach to making a bad situation good. These little animals looking for a meal in the trash is funny. A good contest entry.
