Poor guy. there should be a rule about posting pics and stories that make you cry. This is a great picture and I sure his mommy cherishes is every day.

I'm sorry if I made you cry but I wanted to do something for this little hero.

what a crisp clear composition. you have captured this little friend of yours with a beautiful expression.

the dappled light in the background provides a lovely backdrop to his fuzzy little face and with such expressive eyes, he doesn't need to say a word!

Hey Cleo! This is a really good image of Buddy, and I'm saddened to read your notes.
This picture, however, is not a sad picture, but a happy one, showing him alert, listening, full of life! I love the green background and the amount of texture and detail in the hair on his face. Kind of a strange crop, but it's still a great picture. I'm pretty sure I saw his nostrils flare...

Hi Cleo you really pulled on my heartstrings with this image lol I had a Maltese (Savanna) that I had to put down last year. She was 15 and was "my girl" lol great presentation with good color and clarity along with a pleasing composition. Thank you Papasteve

Oh Cleo what a fantastic job you've done on this photo! A strong impact upon viewing! I love this side to his profile and his intense stare. Is someone holding a dog bisquit for him LOL. I love the background and the slight coloring. Beautiful job and GL in the contest.

Thank you so much Lynseey for your kind review. No, that wasn't a dog biscuit. A friend of the family was coming and calling him. I took the picture by choice.
