What a sad tale of the heroic little Buddy. This is a beautiful portrait and I'm sure the family will treasure this. Lighting and focus very good. You've captured his lovely nature with this shot. The dark background makes a perfect frame for him. Very special composition.

Nice shot which captures the intensity and the fire of his spirit. Good angle and positioning so that all the areas which give him his personality are seen...ear set, eyes, the discheveled coat.
