Another great work. I love how the whiteness at the bottom of the waves look like white fire to me. The misty sky is a great touch strong blues in the water.

I continue to admire your skill in the mixed media department. I have no idea how you do this; this looks like it was painted in water colors. I love the thunderous crashing of the waves, the mist thrown up in the air from their meeting, the two gulls oblivious to their power. Just a gorgeous piece. Good luck in the contest.

Shawn, painting water is very difficult with any medium...but in digital, I find it to be the greatest challenge. This painting is excellent. The water has beautiful coloration and movement. I like the simplicity of the image and the seagulls unimposing in the background. I see a steady improvement in your art. You continue to reach to new levels. It has been interesting to witness your progress. Overall, a very interesting technique. Russ
