Nice image with crystal clear insights. Small in size but large in creativity and imagination rooms. Lovely lighting and tones.

It has an abstract glassy look. I like the colors and the composition here. well done. It is difficult to see the blending of the works, making this piece even better. Cheers, Don (grassroots08)

Lovely array of colors and patterns in this. You've done a spectacular job of rendering this with great attention to detail and the filters are applied nicely to emphasize all different focal points. Would look very beautiful as an actual stained glass window.

The sun catchers from the original photos were about only 2 inches but I agree: I would like to have a stained glass window like this.

I think this is an interesting and creative approach. The colors and images of the sun catchers are lovely, and your combination of the two is very creative and attractive. ~RR

Absolutely beautiful in technique with what you can achieve using these paint brushes, cleo. It must be time consuming and delicate in feeling.

Opens up a whole new dimension of thinking for me.

The colors are so rich and colorful - and the flowing, almost like molten metal or liquid glass seems to grace the hummingbird wings and flower petals.

Truly a dream in perspective and approach - vivid and almost surreal in feeling. Beautiful design and over all composition that is very dramatic and eye-catching.

Yes the paintbrushes a nice but I used them only for the touch up and to add some colors. Most of the painting is done with different sizes of the distortion brush. [That is not a paintbrush in my program but in the same special effect group with the paint brushes and the colorize brushes. I don't know were you find it in yours and what it is called there. I wished the would call the same thing the same in all these programs]
You are pretty close with the molten metal and liquid glass. The two small sun catchers were made in stained glass. The 'molten' is the effect of the distortion brushes. [Do you remember my picture Swan Lake? - It's the same technique]
It was a dream when I couldn't resist to take these photos. It was in December 2007. We was in Texas for Phil's medical and friends took me for a trip to Boerne were a special Christmas month is celebrated. To find these 'tropical' sun catchers in a store window was something special. I would have bought them if the store would be open. There was a lot more beauty in this window but the light was really bad. I couldn't use flash for the reflection. But bad photos could make good Mixed Media. I have some other pictures planned but they need a lot of time. Finding the right technique is the most complicated thing there.
Thanks for your wonderful, encouraging and throuought review. I needed some liquid in my glass.
