Enhanced precision down to the shadowing of objects. Colours have an overall appeal of grain and texture. Overt symbolisim and half hidden imagery. Pixelization gives a soft tone of a hard expression.

I cannot begin to imagine what the original photo was about, but the end result is astounding.
This piece strikes me as highly commercial, with suppressed emotion making a strong impression.
I like the color combinations, and the geometry.
Well done.

I think this is very expressive of all the emotions you listed.
I like the colors and it has lots of background interest also.
Very creative indeed!

Shawn, this is a cool mixed media photo. I can't distinguish between digital art and mixed media. It could pass as digital art by me. But I am just a helpless painter. I can easily see a chain of circular links, but have no idea what I'm looking at. I read your notes. Living is enslavement. LOL, do we really want our freedom? We'd better think twice. Nice mixed media Shawn with great notes.

Enslavement is not always a bad thing, I mean, what would we do without Miller time? :) This could very easily have passed for digital art, but because I did it while playing with a photo, I wanted to be honest about it. Thank you for the great review, Mike, and I don't think you can come up with anything that we humans are not enslaved to, for better or for worse :)

This is a creative picture with great story telling ability. The colors are harmonious, and the composition is very good. The lines and shapes are attractive.

Beautiful work! I love the texture of it. Fabulous colors and lighting links all together brings such a strength to the "enslaved" meaning. In life we are linked to our past. This present is the consequences of our past. So depending on how one's past was, it will tell the future. So yes, definitely we are linked. But I also like the eyes in the middle. It reminds me the Egyptian Udjat eye. For the Egyptian it was a lucky charm. It was believed to ward of sickness and capable to bring life to death. It's a sort of protection. This picture is a beautiful image and message that means to me : despite our destiny we always have a divine protection above us.

Thank you for sharing

Your right MoonWillow and some times its worse than others. We always put up some kind of a enslavement in almost all we do. you have done a great job at creating this feeling too. Nice colors and I really like the blue. Have a Great Day Bingo
