Thank you, cleo. You certainly live up to the definition of a true friend being someone who thinks your a good egg even though she knows that you are slightly cracked.

But thanks. What a nice dedication. You make life a garden with this piece, and I love the green butterfly that seems to be flying into the colorful paradise of flowers that is so distinct, special and unique. I think you show your special talent and intuitive insight for connecting with your profound insight that comes through so powerfully in your works. I think it was Twain, or maybe some photographer, I can't remember, who said something to the effect that you can't depend on your eyes when your imagination is out of focus. Your imagination is always in focus whether you're looking through the lens of a camera, using the mixed media approach, or using your paint brushes.

I love it when you throw gobs of paint, in what ever fashion, in this manner. What a colorful and wonderful world. It appears your mind is always at work in imaginative ways - such as this piece - and is one reason why I'm so grateful and proud of what you've done. Thank you for the thoughtful and wonderful dedication - knowing you - you don't say anything if you don't genuinely mean it. That makes the thought from you all the more special and meaningful. It is always a joy to see your work - I'm one of your biggest fans - from the first image I've seen all the way through to the last one I've seen. I'm touched - I'm grateful - and I'll always remember - it - thank you from the heart.

I've learned so much from you - especially in matters of feeling and content and emotion that you express so well. Simply . . . thank you!

Thank you so much my friend Cracked Egg Zen,
Don't worry about being slightly cracked. I haven't meet a sane person to that day who wasn't. That is especially true for artists. Our human egg shell is just to thin not be cracked by life. The egg shells of artists are thinner because they are more sensitive, they have to be.
thank you so much for your genuine letter. I know you don't say anything you don't mine all the same. So thank you.
I love your quotation but I don't know who said it. I could have been Twain sound' like him.
I'm really happy you see the green butterfly. I was almost going to change her color but nothings really looked right to me so far. Nobody else saw her. I had some really kind reviews were people ask why there is nothing in the corner but green. So thank you once again for seeing.
I am your fan as you are mine from the first piece of work I saw from you and you will be always my teacher. Even if you won't believe it, my art would not be the same without your help, practical and philosophical. Don't worry I will keeping thanking you by trowing colors.
I'm really happy to hear from you. I was a little worried and send almost a email but on the other hand wouldn't bother you thinking you are probably to busy or attending to FAR. You mention something of getting busy earlier. But anyway nice to her of you. I hope all is well. I missed filling you glass.
Thank you again for the wonderful note

Thanks ever so much, cleo. Such a wonderful note and I respect your words. And so right about the fragile egg shells. My personal time for participating on FAR is going to be very limited for awhile. We've had to put a parent in the care of Hospice and it's been a very heart-tearing experience. It's just a matter of priorities with family responsibilities. I want to spend some time looking at what others are doing and reviewing when time permits - now and then hopefully I can post a bit. I'll always be watching for your work. But thanks again for the heart-felt and soul-touching dedication. Such a thought or gesture would always be appreciated from you - but it just hit at the most appropriate and needed moment this time. It helped lift the spirits. I'm totally grateful and appreciative. Thanks more than words can convey.

So sorry to hear about your parent. I know how hard it must be on you. I wished I could help more. But I'm happy if I'm able to lift your spirit from time to time. I just hope you have the chance to look into FAR from time to time. Art has the tendency of relieving the soul and lifting the spirit, doing own art work does the same sometimes even more.
Thank you so much for your heart-felt response. You have touched my soul. Thank you my friend.

And you have genuinely touched my soul, cleo. In many ways. Thanks so much. I will check in for a few minutes now and then on FAR, at least several days a week. I want to keep up with your work and several others. And I do agree with art having the ability to be uplifting to the spirit. I think that's one reason I enjoy it so much. And just sharing ideas and thoughts with others on the subject - I also find that enjoyable and uplifting. You always express your self from your inner being - and I find that in itself so genuine and life-giving. Will stay in touch. And - thanks.

I really like your technique. I like all the swirling. The colors are great. I like that the main flower is a little off center. It might need a few highlights on that flower but all in all very nicely done.

Very pretty they are too! Love your choice of colours, particularly the greens. They might be flowers of your imagination but they still have the appearance and qualities of real flowers. A bright piece to get us on our way towards happier times (hopefully).

I like this very much. Your choice of color combination is excellent. The flowers are vivid and literally jump off the screen. Beautifully painted and I especial like the gentle but sweeping brush strokes. Very, very nice work.

Very nice assortment of colors. I really like the two prominent flowers in the front. The background swirls of green and yellow and some some fainter blooms are done nicely. A very attractive piece. Initial impact, creativity and presentation are very good. Good luck in the contest. Thanks for sharing.
