great shot, like the contrast of mostly grey and white colors, the shadow of the lady wearing a hat is ver story telling, maybe secretive, not too revealing, and mysterious

I don't know how it will do. You are right. It's unusual [as I love the unusual] but it is even more so for the contest I think. In overall I like to make the people think about what they are seeing and why it is there.

hey cleo, i really love this shot! very expressive and very creative. some people may complain that the shadow isn't very dark, but I really love the softness of it on the rock. the actual composition of the shadow is also excellent because the leg and hip of the person in the shadow lines up perfectly with the crack in the rock! I dont know if you did it on purposeor if it just happened, but that really makes it special for me! love the poem too!

It is on purpose. So is the softness. The shadow just got happen when I sit down to change the battery of the camera but seeing it i wiggled until i was in the right position. The most complicated was to tarn the camera so it wouldn't show up as shadow.
