This picture has beautiful, deep colors with a soft textured background - it's very interesting and appealing - love the design and rainbow colors on the vase and the shine on the stem of the glass.

Once again you have outdone yourself. There is something about your work that really attracts me and draws me in. The colours in this are superb -so rich and velvety. The lighting on the vase is just fantastic - gives it a highly polished glazed look about it. The blue/purple/red in the background compliment thte vase and glass of wine really well, and bring them into focus beautifully. Some may find it a bit dark, but I think the 'darkness' of the colours really add to the overall effect. I wish you all the best in the competition :-)

Red, red wine..The song came to mind when I first viewed. I just love it! The colors just blow me away. The red wine and the red rose seem to be hand in hand here, they really compliment each other perfectly. The background with the purples and blues add more to the color pallet.

The background is just luxuriant. Love the flow of the blue line on both sides of the stripe on the vase's neck. I'm a bit of a coward when it comes to backgrounds...tend to keep them plain and simple...and safe...lol.
Would like to have seen a bit more definition on the glass stem...a lighter reflection or highlight to bring it out from the background...
And I think it needed a bit more foreground. There's a bit of visual tension there because the objects are too close to the frame.

I can't really do anything with this until after the contest, although I don't see how it really matters if the contest isn't running yet. After all, that's why we put them up for reviews, but I've detected some rumblings about changing contest entries. :)
