Very well done !! Love the nuances in the colour tones of the waves. There is such rhythmic pattern to the waves..just a super effect. The sky is beautifully done..great technique! Good Luck in the contest!!

A wide ocean view with splendid waves - this is an image that projects me directly to the ocean just watching the waves and listening t the noise

fantastic composition would have been a great blue contest entry as there is just blues with all nuances and shades - perfect wave movements, great reality effects, splendid detail work and accuracy of the real movements and color tones - your are amazing as a wave goes on so fast ad your painting is a kind like stop action image - the covered clouds shows us how the ocean is moving and the far shoreline shows us that his image is a view from the border -
amazing job, great in ambiance and accuracy of a simple nature game playing with the elements of winds and water

Now I jsut hope that the people might find the pieces of the plain in these waves - what a situation

Yes, it's dreadful, isn't it? I feel so sorry for the relatives waiting to hear news. Suzanne

me too - fisherman saw the plane flying just very close over the ocean and thaught that these pilots are crazy - this does not look like they are on land - everybody has a cell phone one passenger would have tried to contect at least.... so sad
reply by the author on 20-Mar-2014
It's still very strange. I think it could have been a hijack and if so, they would have confiscated the passengers' phones I guess. Hope for the relatives they find out soon. Suzanne

I was thinking in that too but there is alwasy some foolish who keeps it - I do not think so as when it would be they have to land somewhere and as the fisherman saw the plane so close over the ocean there must have been a problem and they wanted to give people a chave to survie by not falling from high or a suicide commando but in this case somebody would have already taken responsibility on that - in the net somebody said that it has been taken form a UFO - this is strange but somehow it serves to make people of the world come closer togethr as we see humanity working togethr - all has a purpose , xoxoxo

Yes, I agree Regina. Actually I believe in UFO's as I did see one many years ago. Suzanne

My too Loll no need top belief, they are real and I got many contacts - wanted to write a book about it - need to have a new home first, Loll

I've always been fascinated. Only one of my friends also believes in them, all the others laugh at us! But my daughter and I did see one. Suzanne

You are right but does not matter they will all get a proof when the time has come - Loll
The ones who see them are Known BY them, so it just is and it is not like Governments wish to make us believe - I was in UFO international conferences and saw Governmental evidence - there is a lot hidden, xoxoxo

Yes, I know how things are hidden by the officials. It's the same here in the UK. Suzanne

Very interesting. I'm especially drawn to the sky which is kind of dark and portending of rain? Overall nice composition and colors. Nice painting.

So refreshing. I can hear the splashing of those waves by just looking at this. Love the colors and movement that you've painted. It looks so real. The horizon and the blue sky, really completed the tranquil composition. Painted with expertise and a pleasure to view.

Thanks so much for your lovely review (sorry, don't know your first name Reganato). I've lived by the sea for most of my life and never tire of looking at it and trying to capture the movement. Glad you like this one. Suzanne

Thanks so much, Anthony, for your lovely words. I've been trying something out of my comfort zone today, sort of impressionist style. Went to a Jazz Pub last night so am trying to paint my impression of the Jazz Band! Hope to post it in the next few days. Suzanne

wonderful to hear...Im stepping out of my shell with the "subconscious journey" exercises I am currently doing..its liberating...to simply paint from the mind without thought or premeditation is exhilarating...looking forward to seeing your jazz band ensemble... :)
