This is a really lovely painting. I just love the glow from the sky over the waters. It literally looks heavenly.
Nice composition, initial impact, and story telling appeal.
Thank you for sharing!

I have seen a few of the entries Shawn but none as powerful as this. This has incredible impact and power.
I can't tell if it's the sun or the moon trying to come out but either way,the sky comes across as very angry,as do the waves. The detail in the waves is excellent and you show great movement of the
waves by the excellent use of different brush strokes.
So far, this is my favorite because I can "feel" this painting.Thank you for sharing another incredible painting.

Thank you so much, Angel! You described the feeling I was hoping for when viewing this. It is what I was attempting to get across. Thank you for the description and the beautiful review. You told me a couple days ago you were going to post something. So far I haven't seen anything artsy unless you just uploaded today. What the hey you working on, the Mona Lisa??? LOL. When do you start the classes if you are still going to do it?

You're welcome Shawn.I was going to post this morning but I'm kind of
not in a good space right now.I started to review this morning, answered the reviews I had and I'll tell you after that,I wanted to get away from here.I know now why I don't post photography.I slept all day and got up at 7:00 p.m.It's 10:00,I'll stick around here for a while and go back to bed.Depression is a nasty thing.

Absolutely wonderful, in every way. The colours, the detail, the power of the waves, the clouds, the sun hiding behind them, everything, I just love this. This is why I love the sea more than any other force of nature.

Cannot say I fancy the sad words you quote. LOL I have viewed this sort of scene, many a time and can fully relate to this. A truly lovely piece. All the best in the competition. Robin

What a wonderful digital artwork. Your detail is so good for this and the composition is very exciting with the way the waves are seemingly moving about in the picture. I like your little poem on this also.

Both is gorgeous; The picture and the poem.
I have seen the sea like this many times. Even with the sun trying to come trough just recently. Or maybe it's the moon and I'm wrong again. But anyway, sun or moon, the rage is the same. The anger seams to come from the sea into the girl who doesn't fear the sea but the human nature.
Good look for the contest.

This is a very attractive digital seascape. It certainly has a great deal of story telling ability which you illustrated nicely with the poem. The sea here certainly looks threatening. The colors enhance that view, and the clouds add to the mood.

I am a lover of the ocean. It has so many moods and your image here has captured one of them very well. The light on this is great, mysterious, inviting and powerful. Nice power in those waves.
