This portrait is most creative, It is like nothing I have seen before. It certainly attracts attention, having great initial impact. It is very interesting, and it holds one's attention. I appreciate your discussion of G. Arcimboldo.

This is very different, but an original idea. I think it shows alot of creativity using the fruit and veggies to create the details of a face..and I like the bananas as hair...nice work.

Thank you for your complimentary review. I can't claim the idea. I borrowed it from Arcimboldo. It was an interesting experience to work in his style.

This would be a good illustration in a children?s story book or similar. It is a really nice idea and I like your use of the mixed media photography here very much. Wonderful stuff, what more can I say?. Robin

Thank you much Robin. I can't claim the idea since I was borrowing it from Arcimboldo but it was an interesting experience to work in the style of a known painter using mixed media.

in term of talent, this is really good

Thank you for your generous review. I'm not sure what apple you mean, there ate several of them. If i look closely you may mine the one between the eyes? Maybe that one got a little dark. I increased the color on it because the are seamd to have not enough color.

Excellent control of the digital mediums of your choice - The demonic glare of the eyes is softened and balanced by the fruit and vegetables making an overall pleasing and mysterious piece to view and contemplate - Great work - Howard

Thank you very much Howard. Did I really a demonic glare into the eyes? That's not intentional. I was thinking they are smiling as usual. Better I don't let my husband read this review.

This really is not my favourite style but have to award you high marks for creativity, composition and colours. And patience as I imagine this took a while to create.
A very clever piece of work.

Thank you for your generous review. I started this work for the food contest a wile ago but posted another picture since a was fahr away from being done at the time. It isn't my usual stile either but as the title suggest it is in the stile of and a homage to Arcimboldo, who fascinated the art world for the last 500 years. It was an interesting experience to learn more about the painter and work in his style. I tought it was feeding for the current contest.
