Excellent job with th elighting on this for the contest! The angle is good for this also. I do find the focus is a bit off for this one cleo85. Otherwise nicely done!

Thank you so much for your generous review. The focus isn't of. The fuzzy and moving effect is caused by the setting to rear curtain sync in low light. The "ghostly" effect bis in purpose as ask in the call for the contest. Or did I understand the rules wrong?

Ok now I understand that it is the concept of what seems to be a complicated contest! In that case you have done a good job!

Nice job at showing the trail of the light ~ you accomplished the assignment nicely. My only problem is with the framing of the shot in terms of the head missing. I would have like to have seen this shot in portrait mode to allow us his head and also the lights tail. Best though I have rated so far for this topic ~ at least you justified the rear-sync. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much. The original photo has the heads in. I cropped it of in purpose to save the privacy of the people in foreground and concentrate on the candle and the lady with the boy in the background. I just realised, it looks as if I send a that a wrong version. The cut should have been right above the necklace. I have to check on the post.

I don't know what rear-curtain sync is but I like your photo. Beautiful warm evening tones, lots of interest and story. I'll bet it was a beautiful wedding. Thanks for sharing this moment in Mexico.

Thank you so much for your complimentary review, Rear curtain sync is a special flash setting combined with slow shutter speed what gives these "ghostly" effects of movement.

Thanks so much for the info. I really appreciate your taking the time to explain the rear curtain thing. I know your time is precious and it was very kind of you to help me out.
