Wonderful story and composition cleo. Technicals are well handled in what can be difficult circumstances with the reflective window. Nice rich colors, good clarity and focus. Well done. I hope you are able to weather the storm both figuratively and literally and that the universe will bring you clear skies and serenity in the days ahead. Peace, Dan

Thank you so much Dan. Oh yes the storm did go by without real damage but the skies aren't clear jet. It still rains of and on but that is probably a blessing after months of draught.

I'm really sorry about Hurrican Ida and your hard times. This is a very beautiful photograph, because of the story behind the flower and the love letter. It leaves a lot to the imagination and I like the abstract framing. Please don't reply to this review when your Internet is slow...I know how hard that is to deal with. Hope things get better for you soon, and all the people in your area.

Thank you so much for your throught review and your concern. Ida did go by with a almost smile at us. No damage. Just a lighting strike to the Internet antenna ans some power drowning 12 inches of rain. The power outs more do to bad maintenance of the power lines and transformers than the [much needed] rain.

I like the color harmony here. But the deciding factor for the 5 stars was the story about this photo. This is quite romantic and such athoughful gesture. Nice clear shot, good lighting and very creative!

Thank you so much for your kind review. Sorry for not being clear enough in my notes. The photo is my apology for not being present at FAR at the time. It shows part of the window of an weathered truck on a Mexican construction site were someone put a even that much weathered love note on last Valentines Day. Sorry for being late.

Interesting subject that does have potential. Lighting is good and very natural. Image is crisp with clear details and very good textures in the center of the image. It really needs to be cropped so as not to be right in the center both vertically and horizontally. Several ways to accomplish this so go ahead and experiment with it.

Thank you so much for your kind review and suggestions I may would have considered myself if I had a chance to work with the photo before posting. But I didn't. It needed at least straightening but It's shown as taken. I'm not sure about your tight cropp since it would mean to lose much of the sky and the tree reflection what both seams symbolic to me. I agree about centering pictures. I'm usually not friend of it myself. But somehow I like it here for the story.
It really doesn't matter much since the picture isn't an work of art nor on sell but it is an apology for being absent from the site as I have written in my notes.
Sorry for my late response do to the same circumstances what had caused my apology.

I just love this. Great photograph. No apologies are ever necessary. We all have lives and I, like you, cannot always post, review, and respond as much as we would like.

Oh my goodness how touching! I love the beat up car, and the simple yet so profound heart. You can tell it is an expression of love, in itself much more deeply appreciated than a card from a store!

Interesting concept for a photo. This is indeed unusual and you have presented it well. I did not know what this was all about at first but after the notes, I see. Hope everything works out ok for you!

Thank you so much! Yes everything is fine. No damage, just lightning strike at the Internet antenna and power drowning 12 inches of rain. We are back to normal now I hope. Thanks.

Hi Cleo. Am new to the site but welcome you back after your unintended absence. Great photograph to start with well taken and clear as a bell. Its almost as if someone has dumped the car after a long and useful life and they left a note and a bit of their heart with it. I know thats not the case but it just shows there are possible stories in the pic.

Colours 5
tech both 5
impact 5
interest 5
lighting 5
stories? yep a few I can think of 5.

Like this for what it could represent. Take care and thanks for the notes above. Very informative. Nick
