Hauntingly beautiful, mysterious, surreal. Initial impact is very strong and both the easily discernible and more translucent details add dynamic and interest to keep the view engaged. Wonderful sense and rendering of lighting and the subtle swirling line flows and shapes add further dynamic, interest and impact. Very creative and visually appealing take on the hurricane. Peace, Dan

Wonderful digital art with great colors, details, creativity, clarity, effects, and presentation, too. Good story, too. Love her fishy eyes, and her witchy hat, too...wonderful artwork.

Thank you so much. She is indeed fishy and witchy and full of potential danger.

Shades of Salvidor Dhali in this surreal work with successful sinister undertones. The reference to a hurricane with a life of its own in the title mirrors the subject well.Good work

Nice colour harmony in this painting. I like the tree on the witches' head with the flame running through the middle. I also like the allusion of leaves flowing out from the tree. The witch though, looks just too tame!

Oh, nice one, cleo! Neat idea of making the witch a storm. At first when I saw the thumbnail I thought it was an octopus, like in the Disney film about the little mermaid. :-)
I can see the different layers you used and the effect is awesome. Her facial features remind me of a show I watched as a kid, called Bewitched. I love the accented eyes and the twisty hat, along with the one upturned eyebrow. Very spooky and probably the kind of witch who can do more than her fair share of damage in the world!
The patch of texture coming in from the left looks kind of like an aerial view of land below--whether intentional or not, it has the effect and it's nice that way.
Well done, cleo. Excellent work!

Ida the hurricane witch conjures up the idea of something horrible and destructive. What I see here looks neither. I see an underwater mermaid with the tree of knowledge growing from her. lol Each to their own. As a piece of art it is very eye catching and entertaining.
