I have also seen that phenomenom it is very beautiful and exciting. This is a tremendous capture of the dawn, such an inspiring way to begin the day. Excellent color and poetry. And I think the framing is perfect...the sunshould be in the center, and if you have all that beautiful space, why crop any of it out? Simply stunning.

This is sheer perfection. Mother Nature at its best and showing off. The orange and golden colours are amazing. The composition is fabulous.

Centering is a rule that works best when it is sometimes broken. It (the rule) helps to add interest and tension. You need no help here at all, the interest is high, picture centered itself with those great rays! You shot this exactly as it should be. Donkleyoatey

To me, this is a view from a fairy tale; your sophisticated comments enhance the mystery - may be it was an extraterestrial spaceship! (lol)
The centered image is perfect for such a subject, gives the sensation of MASTERING everything, the Earth and Heaven; the rays are strange and fabulous , enchanting colors.

Thank you so much Nona, Maybe it was a spaceship. In any case it was spectacular. The photo can't show it all. Sorry for being late.

Hardly boring at all! You've applied the rule of thirds with the natural focus being the sun but added to that, the rays themselves make for a good centre of interest. Great colour harmony!

Hi Cleo85
You did well to centre the sun otherwise the rays would have gone out of place. Good excel tech with impact and color as well as centre of interest. Good story as well.
I like it the way it is
Thanks for sharing

Well timed with this pic!
The clouds that frame the sun and create the halo effect from the suns rays looks great.
Nice warm colours and not much blow out with the sun. A very well composed shot!
Maybe if youy timed it a little earlier we could have seen the whole sun. But this effect works just as well.
