Very nice work here of the flowers sun and the dog. I think this is rather different and did take some planning on your part. I like the red heart he has on his collar, and the butterfly sitting on his nose. Different however, this has a lot going on here.

The bright butterfly flowers add an initial impact to the image!!

I love the way it makes you think as you try to figure out whats going on in the picture!!

I love the dark yet bright sky and the way the dark trees all add eariness to the story - telling, yet remaining untold!!

Great work..

So fun, cleo! I love this whimsical side to your art - this reminds me of a children's book illustration. Seems you and I are on similar wavelengths this week - sun and shadow oriented, for sure.
I like in this painting the contrast between the bright sun's yellow and the flower's blue. The composition is balanced and very appealing.
You used just the right amount of dark light and colored elements to create a very lovely presentation. Looks like you had fun while doing it, too. That is very important! Hugs for an adorable picture,
Sara

Yes I like to be whimsical from time to time and yes its a children;s story. This dragon puppy will have his part in my book about Spot, the dog.

This is a very intriguing and delightful mixed media, which utilizes so many different effects. This is really "Not Natural Any More! I love the sprinkling of blue flowers and the bulgy eye. This has excellent impact and a very cool story. Well done, and the best of luck to you in the contest! Gena

I like the interesting idea and design here!! Not like any art i've seen before. The butterflies are a bit bright and seem to be the focus of this picture though instead of the dragon. Still very well done!!

Thank you so much Deb. Yes this dragon is just a pop. But his parent's are as that friendly. They are decedents from a some well known families. His mother is a child of Michael Ende's Pluff, the pink dragon and his father has an family tree right back to Dragonheart.
