It makes me think of my own Day Lilies behind 'Shed Number Two' ( where my old Mercury 'lives' ) that should be blooming in just a few more days!

Beautiful work. How long did it take you. Was it all painbucket from a photo you took of an orange lilly? Was it all in photoshop or paintshop? This is a sweeping image that has the perfect blend of photography with a painter's palette.

Thank you very much. No it isn't a photo at all. It is entirely painted on a digital blank canvas using tools of a special paint program called ArtRage. I used several different pictures/photos as reference but a photo of a lily as in the painting doesn't exist.
