I think its lovely! I really like the coloring of the houses. Even though they are or could be in eminent danger, they are warm and welcoming. On a side note you're digital painting skills have become quite phenomenal. :)) Good luck in the contest!

This is such an interesting scene , I like the city structures and the way they are arranged on the different levels but under the volcano.
It's a well thought out digital painting with well shaped structures , nice details and well chosen and applied colors. I like the leading line provided by the stair case. The volcano is well shaped and I appreciate the smoke coming from the top of it.
