This is awesome. I love the thought that you are reaching for the stars. The hint of light coming from around your hand really sets the image of your hand off. The sparkles of the stars are outstanding. Great job and good luck in the contest! Wendy

This is pretty neat. I really like the effect you have created here. It's a neat concept. I would suggest you think about cropping out some of the sides slightly. There's a lot of empty black on this.

Thank you for your review and suggestions. I almost posted the crop you suggest but decided against because I think the darkness around is more symbolic. Who could reach a star without going to darkness? I don't know anybody who hasn't some draw backs along the way, including myself.

Thank you, I appreciate your review. There is not much of a story behind other than in my comments. It is a symbol of what I think of myself. I won't settle for the average. I want the stars. But to get there one has to go to darkness. no way of life is smooth. We all have draw backs, as human being and as artists. It is know fairy tale. It is a self impression posted for the contest as such.
