This good be a photo... my gosh!!!
Extremely detailed and realistic... honestly it wasn't until I saw the blue center of the poppy that I realized this was not a photo. The flower buds around the poppy are perfect, and the color variation on the petals of the flower add to the realism.

The detail on the poppy buds is excellent. The colours are nice too. There are a few spots where the flower seems a bit fuzzy and this is different from the clear detail of the buds but nice work.

Really good work Shawn. Initial impact is great. There's almost a 3D effect in this picture. The colours in the flower are bold and the detailing in the whole work is great. Very well done. flanders

Amazing painting, looks so realistic. You did a great job with details here, colors are wonderful, perfect red and green contrast. I would suggest a bit darkening of the background to leave the flower stand out in front of it. Thanks for sharing this beauty.

Fantastic neat appearance of the flower, looks perfect, but the buds are really incredible; it's very hard to think they are not real, especially the one lower left starting to open a bit...Absolutely great.

wow, is this all painting or an altered photo? it's absolutely beautiful. I love poppies and this is so close to lifelike.
Love the blurred background and the highlights.
And this is one where you don't wonder if the slight faults you notice are just from the upload because the bigger size is better than the thumbnail.
