First of all you have a good eye to see the red umbrella and to use these window panes to frame it,but do think it needed 1to be more prominent but can see that might have been difficult because of the distance in the subject and 2 think the glass slightly distorts or alters the clarity of the umbrella, but that aside well done for thinking outside the box for this, shows your thinking differently and that can only bbe a good thing...brian

Thank you. This is one of those spur of the moment shots, as so many are. I try to take advantage when something strikes my fancy.

I like the way you framed this picture through a window. Seeing a single umbrella out on the beach with no one else in sight makes you think about how wonderful it was to get out and steal the moment with no distractions.

Thank you so much for your thoughts, time and comments. Nothing like a beach on a beautiful spring day!

interesting capture. the angle of the shot of the beach, red umbrella, sea view and skyview looking thru the window is great. the capture of the light is great. the clarity is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall

Thank you so much. This was just a lucky shot, in that I noticed the umbrella while lunching and that I had a camera with me. Your specific comments are much appreciated.

Framing and composition are excellent. Story telling ability is extremely varied. A lot of different stories could come from this one photo. Great balance between each of the elements. Lighting is very good.

A beautiful picture of the view over the beach as seen thorough the window the red umbrella catching the eye & drawing the eye into the picture & out to sea. Wondering who set up the umbrella & where were they now. Beautiful composition framing & lighting, taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Cool,Anne!
: )
That's a really nice looking picture,my friend!
The single umbrella out on the beach and the empty horizon in the distance project a romantically 'lonely' tone and the unusual 'through the window' viewpoint adds to the image's interest and appeal!
A really 'Good Show' here,my friend!

Thank you so much. I've always liked this picture. It's very much off-season Jersey shore.

Nice use of the window lines to separate the frame into several photos, but the red umbrella should be bigger in the frame if it is the main subject

thanks for sharing

A very nice shot. The umbrella is nicely placed in that large window. I like the way the windows break up the scene. The colors are excellent and the reflection in these windows is beautiful.

What reflection? Thanks. It was just a quick shot with a basic camera. I only did a little tweaking today.

A lovely capture of the serene beach with the defiant, lone individual determined to get their fill!! nice approach taking it through the window which adds a covert effect to it, and good clarity and colour - nice photo.

Thank you. This was a view from a restaurant that, unfortunately, is no longer there.

Creative concept.
Innovative approach. Imaginative presentation.
Striking subject but it's way too distant & cute that it's overpowered by these window lines & wall!
An almost dead centered horizon is tilting to the left.
Diffused focusing.
Please contact Tom as there's no large scale image for clarity comparison.
This has a painterly feel.
Good perspective & long depth of field...
Well lit.
Thanks for sharing...

Thanks for the heads up on the missing image.
This is an older shot, and just a basic older digital camera or maybe even film. Thanks for your review.
