Wow, that is a lot of details, a very elaborated work, the first impression was great and then as I reviewed the details, became even better, a good reason for your family to like it, thank you for sharing, Don Fofo

This is hela cool, the entire story of life, told on one canvas.
Excellently executed brush work.
This is way cool.
All my favorite colors
The colors are good, as is the light.
To me the balance, and composition, both are well done.
I see a high degree of technical excellence.
Also I see a high level of sophistication in the overall appearance of this image.
Very nicely captured.I believe that these images carry a high capacity for story telling.
Thank You for sharing,
D3

You have shown such talent in this! I love all of the colours and the characteristics you show in this picture. It would be the perfect artwork for a childs room. So many stories to be told with this. I hope you framed this and gave it a beautiful wall to hang on!

I certainly see the African influence here. Very good representation of what is in you memory. I do like the vivid use of the colors as it seems to be a happy collection of memories. I really like the expression on the giraffes face in the foreground. Great effort.

Aww thank you, this is the first large scale painting I have done, I am usually quiet impatient and need things finished now now. Im surprised that I was ok with doing it in stages, you dont have much choice with little uns round your feet ;) Your artwork is fantastic by the way, I would love to be able to paint portraits like that!

I can't say if this is good or bad, for i'm not a painter, and i'm not going to make something up. However what i see is a person with a gift, and this painting shows so much detail, and things going on wow. You have done alot of work here, and the colours used are great, well done.

Wow, what a lot of work done here. A great South African theme with the wildlife and the family at the bottom. I like the choice of colours as the oranges, to me at least, suggest the hot African plains.

Thanks so much for the positive feedback, I'm glad you could sense the African theme through the choice of colours as thats the message I was trying to get across. Its been hard work to produce but been great fun painting, will have to think of something else to start now :)
