Beautiful shot Cleo. Love your strong silhouettes. Very nice composition. Strong lighting really creates a nice mood here. Best of luck.

This looks almost an evening. The image has a tranquility about it, the one the silhouetted forms are taking in.Good angle to show the bay, sea and the sand; and of course the feeling of repose! A great way to start the day, with the clarity imparted from a walk amidst such peaceful surroundings.

Thank you very much for your kind review.
Our mornings look a lot like evenings, especially for people who don't live here. It's probably because to see a sunset over the ocean is much more common than a sunrise.

I love sillouhettes and this one depicts why I love them so much! The reflection of the water really makes the subjects stand out even more. Great shot!

What a special seascape, morning light is just right coming off the water. The balance between the land, sea and sky is spot on. The only down side for me is the silhouette of the one person in the middle. I realize you have no real control over her angle, but sure would be a bit more to my liking if the person was turned more in line with the light like the others. Nevertheless is really nice shot. Thank you John for your kind review. That's right. I did not have any control over the people especially since the shot was taken with a telescopic lens from about 300 feet away. But even if I would have been closer I wouldn't have called out to them. Especially since they were friends. In my experience people tend to pose when they know. I shoot and ask later.

nice emotive shot. great balance and composition, lighting isg reat for the mood and the silhouettes, but I find the overall picture just a little too dark. i love the glints of the water - they are very well captured. Loverly viewing, Cheers, PP :-)

Thank you for your kind review and input. Is it really too dark? What could I do against it? It is dark on a cloudy morning with just two rays of sun braking through.

This is a lovely atmospheric scene that has been captured very well.
I like the clarity of the image and the sharp details throughout.
The silhouetted people walking across the sand with the sunlight reflecting across the rippling water make for a great story.
Nice work and thanks for the lovely share.
