What amazing colours and light in this piece.
The richness and warmth of the reds and oranges, highlighted perfectly around the base of the vase and the tips of the cattails.

the first thing i was drawn to was the use of colour and light - it catches the eye immediately and then i was drawn into the depth of the work which was very well done. the reflections on the table and vase are lovely.

composition is very interesting.
very modern, contermpory

I am pretty sure the lighting is landing in all the right places.
Mostly I like the red/yellow tones together. great color choices.

Very fiery colors and I love the smoothness of the light.

This is an interesting variation for you...a little less detailed than your other work, which seems wholly appropriate for this contest, i.e., it's about the light. I like the "too hot" kick off the cattails, and the deco-feel of the concentric rings in the background. Very fine.

I really think this is rather nice, but feel on a viewing interest front, cropping or re-framing would add just that bit more impact. Thus, my reason for giving you a low-ish rate on this one. Robin

I think I know the artist that did this. I might be wrong. But anyway about the piece. The highlights are very good and the simple 3 color combo is great they really work well together
