This is a beautiful work you have created! The colors of the tulip are so bold yet soft in appearance. The lighting through the yellow highlights is pleasing against the red and slightly orange tones. The overall soft/blur is soothing giving this piece a peaceful air. Nice work!

Wow, superb art work. Love those details and shades of tulip. It appears to be a tulip bud not a full bloom one. The color and texture are nicely presented. I really enjoyed.

Cleo,I knew this was a flower!!! :o) I've always loved the look of tall buds! They have lovely crinkles in them. To me you get two lovely versions of the flower. One version is the closed bud and the other is when it opens. You did a terrific job of capturing the closed bud, it so resembles the real thing! Love the name you chose too, because it so fits the look of the bud at this stage! Very Cool! Good Luck in the Contest! Nancy

Creative approach and awesome work overall..well I have some good news and some bad news..I'll start with the bad news..my cpu video card want out on the motherboard..ohno!!!..now for the good news..have a bigger and better one being shipped..yeah! Sad part I have to wait a week..so I'm gonna have handle things by cell but other things I have to wait on the tower..I'll try to do a group meeting from phone..I hate this small keyboard! Lol

The creation is well balance and very eye appealing to the viewer. i'm seeing loads of these in front gardens right now. this is lovely and you made such a beautiful interpretation of these amazing blooms. this one is still in a bud state and you can just imagine it opening up into a very grand flower..
