Beautiful lighting as well as appealing placement of your flutter within the frame. The soft dainty florals are a nice accent and contrast to the darker tones of your subject. Nice soft blends of the background that isolates and sets the scene.

Nice, nice, nice!

Great background treatment and the buckeye is so well presente.

Good detail on him, hard to get. Overall, nice handling and show.

Nice Capture! The butterfly has good colors and The clarity is okay. Overall focus is a little soft. I like the addition of the honey bee, looks a little out of focus.

Nice butterfly. Looks a little blurred but the colors are clear. The poor flowers lost their petals, I like the way the blur in the back round makes the subject stand out.

This is a good shot, the BF stands out well, the colours are rich and varied and provide a good contrast with good background fade, but what really distracts is the smudge of yellow in the foreground, what a shame you didn't crop it out.

Hi Willie,
I like the focus on the butterfly but the blur at the bottom totally ruins it.
Try cropping the original the way I suggest and see how it comes out. (I would appreciate seeing the result if possible?)
Thanks for sharing.

I wish I could fix it & post it again as the same shot. Do you know anything about that.
reply by mrdavids on 14-Oct-2010
you can choose to edit it and replace it.

focus, colours & contrast work well together to highlight the focal point. I may have balanced the end result so there wasn't so much space down the right side however it by no means takes anything away from the presentation. - Mother nature at her best.

Nice shot of this butterfly
Good focus and lighting
The only thing that is distracting is the yellow blob in the foreground
Maybe if your cropped this out the butterfly would pop more
Thanks for sharing
